| Saleem Saleem is considered one of the most professional Arab - Amerrican performing artists. Originaly from a land that has many names and identities; The Hollyland, Palestine, Israel, what ever matches your taste :). As an openly Gay actor / playwright , he was the recipient of the 1996 GLAAD awards for his acclaimed production of " Salam Shalom a tale of passion ". As a dancer, he has developed his own dancing style which incorporates ; Ruks Sharki- Arabic & Middle Eastern style, Flamenco, gypsy, and modern Jazz all blended to produce what he calls FREE STYLE BELLY DANCE. Also In addition Saleem holds an MBA in business marketing from Colorado State University , and teaches management and marketing classes at DeVry University when he is not touring with his artistic work. |
